Istanbul Foundation for
Cultural and Arts (IKSV) –
16th Venice Architecture
My application for a fellowship offered by the Istanbul Foundation for Cultural and Arts (IKSV) in order to participate in the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale as a member of the Turkish Pavilion was accepted in 2018 after having passed through several selective stages. I was chosen to attend the Biennale as a member of the Turkish delegation from a pool of international applicants of graduate and undergraduate students.
Witnessing such creative and collabora-tive productions was eye opening. I loved participating in workshops, engaging in roundtable discussions and hearing the keynote lectures driven by guest scholars, designers and leading architects and became even more eager to enter the field.
